Job summary

Transdev North America in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a candidate to manage the warranty process, ensuring compliance with company standards and manufacturer parameters. Candidates with 3-4 years of experience specifically in vehicle warranty or fleet maintenance are preferred.

Compensation

Competitive compensation package: minimum $23.89 – maximum $30.82

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the warranty process in accordance with company policy and within the parameters established by the manufacturers. Claims need to be filed in a timely manner.
  • Performs periodic audits of maintenance systems to ensure claims are flagged for potential warranty. Reports discrepancies to the warranty director to modify the warranty agreements.
  • Identifies product deficiencies and failure trends and communicates this information to the Technical Department. Tracks TSR reports as they relate to warranty.
  • Maintains database of all warranty claims and their current status. Proper follow‑up with manufacturers on aged claims.
  • Works in partnership with the technical team to ensure the timely processing of recalls and campaigns.
  • Work closely with maintenance staff (RMMs, Service Managers & TICs) to follow up on warranty questions and gather additional information required to process claims promptly.
Qualifications
  • Technical certifications are a plus.
  • 3–4 years of related experience are necessary. Vehicle warranty experience, fleet maintenance experience, and vehicle parts experience are required.
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office products.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
  • Push and pull objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
