Job summary

Kootenai County is seeking a Records Technician to receive, maintain, and update records of outstanding warrants and coordinate cooperative transports and extraditions of inmates.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least six months of related experience, and NCIC certification within six months of hire. Pepper spray authorization may be required. Competitive benefits include health care, access to a free medical clinic, and PERSI retirement.

THE POSITION:

This position receives, maintains, and updates records of outstanding warrants and coordinates cooperative transports and extraditions of inmates to and from Kootenai County.
