Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Encino, CA is seeking a part-time team member to deliver warm hospitality from the moment guests arrive. You will take orders, operate the POS, prepare drinks and pastries as needed, and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure guests leave satisfied.

3–6 months of restaurant experience is welcomed; flexibility and reliability are valued in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in dining room and retail areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests during their visit.
• Receive orders, enter into the POS accurately, and coordinate with the kitchen as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences; handle guest situations empathetically.
• Maintain knowledge of pastries, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Keep dining and work areas clean and organized; assist with setup and closing tasks.
