Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Laredo, TX seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehousing teams, exceed performance goals, and uphold safety and customer service standards.

You will develop forward-looking plans, manage resources and the P&L, recruit and develop staff, and collaborate across sites to share best practices.

This role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and proficiency with MS Office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
• Proficiency with computers including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and relationship-building with associates and customers.
• Ability to develop and execute annual financial operating plan and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to exceed customer KPIs and objectives.
• Collaborate with customers and departments to understand needs.
• Identify operational improvements in inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans; manage P&L.
• Promote a safety-first culture and coach through safety observations.
• Travel as necessary and maintain reliable attendance.
