Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a full-time Warehouser to join our team.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, picking, packing, staging freight, and using scanners. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior warehousing experience; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment (carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Pick, pack, and stage freight for pickup.
• Physically lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs.
• Use scanners to track freight throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a customer service first mentality; ensure accurate and timely handling.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including day, night, weekends and holidays.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Warehouser to join our team in our Allentown, PA location. Our warehouse workers are responsible for safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.

• Earn $20.65 per hour. Rate will increase to $21.65 after 12 months of employment and $25.25 after 24 months

Warehouser qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Warehouser responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading trailers using appropriate equipment – carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Picking, packing, and staging freight for pickup

• Utilizing scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse
