Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Yard Spotter in Appleton, WI to move trailers in and out of dock doors and stage them in the yard. This role supports dock operations and requires attention to safety and efficiency.

Shifts are Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 4:45 AM, with a pay rate of $24.00–$26.00 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k). CDL-A and DOT credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 12 months of yard spotting experience and the ability to maneuver trailers in tight spaces.
• Safety-first mindset and reliable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Dock, stage, and reposition trailers throughout the yard.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to keep operations flowing.

Job Duties

• Dock, stage, and reposition trailers throughout the yard
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to keep operations flowing
• Maintain yard organization, safety, and efficiency

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 12 months of yard spotting experience
• Ability to maneuver trailers in tight and congested spaces
• Safety-first mindset
• Reliable with a strong attendance record

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Minimum age requirement
