Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Grand Prairie, TX. The role supports warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Pay is $18.98 per hour, schedules are Monday–Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and duties include unloading, labeling, and using WMS to track inventory. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and proficiency with pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Looking for Warehouse Associate jobs in Grand Prairie where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

Job Duties

• Manually unload trailers and cargo.


• Repackage and relabel products as needed.


• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.


• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.


• Sort and place parts or products in racks and other designated storage areas.


• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system (WMS).


• Perform quality control inspections.


• Identify and remove damaged products when received.


• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.


• Maintain accurate inventory records.


• Follow all company safety requirements and procedures.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.


• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.


• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.


• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.


• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.


• Must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.


• This position involves continuous manual unloading of cargo.
