Job summary

Staffmark in Newville, PA is seeking a forklift operator earning $18.50–$19.50 per hour. Minimum of 1 year forklift experience and basic inventory skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage locations.

• Pull, stage, and distribute materials based on work orders and schedules.
• Sort and store materials on racks and designated locations.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or production use.
• Open containers, inspect materials, and verify quantities received and distributed.
• Mark materials with identifying information and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Enter and update inventory records in the computer system.
• Weigh, count, and verify materials to ensure quality and standards.
• Prepare parcels and shipments for mailing and distribution.
• Support general warehouse operations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operator (FLO) experience required
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and recordkeeping
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and production schedules
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
