Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Operator to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in a fast-paced environment. You will support production, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate forklifts safely in compliance with site procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, at least 6 months of warehouse experience, forklift certification, basic math, and familiarity with warehouse systems (SAP a plus). This is an on-site role in Alaska.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of related warehouse or logistics experience.
• Hands-on forklift experience and certification required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Basic PC skills and experience with warehouse systems; SAP is a plus.
• Oilfield services or industrial environment experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound materials from suppliers and plants with accuracy and proper documentation.
• Stocking and organizing materials and finished goods in designated locations.
• Picking materials and delivering to production or shipping areas.
• Preparing component kits and fulfilling production orders.
• Performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory records.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Supporting shipping activities and loading/unloading freight.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment per company standards.
