Job summary

Baker Hughes is hiring a Warehouse & Yard Operator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring timely movement, storage and distribution of materials. You will operate a forklift, manage inventory, and maintain a safe, organized work environment to keep production flowing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year warehouse experience, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math and PC skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience requested.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to safely load/unload freight with a forklift.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and documents.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic math in daily work.
• Basic PC skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous supply of raw materials to production lines.
• Move semi-finished goods between production stages to support operations.
• Receive, stock and organize incoming materials and inventory.
• Store completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
• Operate a forklift throughout the shift to transport materials safely.
• Load and unload freight following safety procedures.
• Remove scrap metal, waste materials and debris from the facility.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper material handling and storage.
• Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, organized and productive warehouse environment.
