Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Operator to support manufacturing by moving materials, receiving and stocking items, and maintaining safe, organized operations across shifts. You will operate a forklift, load and unload freight, help keep inventory accurate, and ensure a continuous supply of materials to production lines while adhering to safety policies.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; the 2/3 schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Ability to safely load/unload freight with forklift.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and documents.
• Basic math and PC skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous supply of raw materials to production lines.
• Move semi-finished goods between production stages.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
• Store completed products and assemblies.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials safely.
• Load and unload freight per safety procedures.
• Remove scrap, waste, and debris from the facility.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
