We are looking for a Warehouse/Laydown Yard Helper to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and laydown yard.
2. Supply crews with daily material requests.
3. Pick up/deliver materials as needed.
4. Load and unload reel and flatbed trailers.
5. Secure loads as required by TXDOT.
6. Maintain a clean warehouse/laydown yard.
7. Work long hours in all types of weather.
8. Conduct inventory on a regular basis.
9. Operate Forklift.
10. Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 1 year of related experience
2. Knowledge of CATV construction and parts is a plus.
3. Knowledge of fiber optic construction and parts is a plus.
4. Forklift experience required.
5. Ability to stop, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
6. Clean driving record.
7. Professional interpersonal communication skills.
8. Safety-minded.
9. Bilingual candidates preferred.

Education:

High School diploma or GED.

Work Environment (All Positions):

• Employee will be subjected to outside weather conditions.
• Employee could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, heat, and humidity.
• The noise level in the work environment can often be loud.
• The employee is frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving traffic in the work environment.

Warehouse/Yard Laborers must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes.
