Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Elk Grove, CA to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping in a fast-paced setting. You will receive on-the-job training from day one and will have shifts that include nights, with flexibility for hours up to 29 per week.

No prior warehouse experience is required; ability to lift 35–50 lbs, work in refrigerated areas, and follow safety rules is essential. Equipment training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience.
• Training provided starting on the first day.
• Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds and work in a refrigerated area.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and walk for the shift.
• Good verbal communication and teamwork are expected.
• Willingness to work holidays is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders: pick, pack and prepare shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and support projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe environment.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

Shifts typically offered are 8:30p to 4am or 10:00pm to 4amReceiving notifications on your phone via the Shyft app about shifts, work news and eventsWhat Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal HealthWarehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.QualificationsWe are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience.
