Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to fulfill orders, pick, pack, and ship products in a fast-paced environment. The role includes Sunday night shifts into early Monday morning with additional weekday shifts, and an hourly rate of $22.26.

PTO is provided in compliance with laws; there is no bonus eligibility. The position requires lifting 35–50 pounds, working in a refrigerated area, and flexibility for schedule changes.

• Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment.

Job description

Pay rate: $22.26 per hour (includes shift differential)

Bonus eligible: No

Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws

Schedule: SUNDAY: 7:30pm - work complete (usually 4am)

Remainder of the week M-F, work as many or few hours as youchoose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week. Shifts typically offered are 8:30p to 4am or 10:00pm to 4am

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

• Ability to lift up 35 to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in refrigerated area (i.e. walk-in refrigerator)!
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and walk for entire shift
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal communication skillsand team player.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs
• Willingness to work holidays a plus

• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
