Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment on Saturdays with a flexible schedule for the rest of the week.

You will pick, pack, and ship orders, stay compliant with safety standards, and participate in cross-training across warehouse areas. The role includes training for material handling equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in a fast-paced distribution environment meeting quotas and attendance.
• Experience with basic computers/ point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Basic reading/writing in English required to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and preparing for shipment.

• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, order picker, reach truck).

Schedule: Saturday (Required) 7:00am- 3:30pm or until finish

• Remainder of the week work as many or as few hours as you prefer.
• You choose based on available shifts. 8-29hrs weekly.
• Receiving notifications on your phone about shifts, work news and events
• No need to ask for days off – you decide your schedule

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
