Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking warehouse team members to support receiving, storage and shipment operations. Schedule: Sunday–Thursday 8:00pm–4:30am or until finish. Pay rate $22.36 per hour (includes shift differential); benefits are offered.

You will receive and fulfill orders to ensure customers have products to care for patients. No experience required; training provided on day one. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights 20–30 ft, and stand for the full shift; overtime

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required; training provided on your first day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or point of sale systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality checks, packing, and preparing for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participation in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider) as required.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
