Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a warehouse packing associate in Logan Township, New Jersey. The role demands speed and accuracy in a bakery packaging setting, with a 7:30 AM–6:00 PM Sunday to Wednesday schedule.

You will stand, move constantly, follow SOPs, and handle up to 50 lbs repeatedly while maintaining safety and GMP standards. The position offers competitive wages of $19.25 per hour plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K, along with PTO and other perks.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.

Responsibilities

• This is a fast-paced environment.
• Working in ambient temperature, range could very between 55-75 degrees.
• On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.
• Packing bakery items product into mobile bakery cans.
• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling walking.
• Pushing/pulling carts full of bakery product to assigned pack area.
• Pushing/pulling empty bakery carts to staging area and or onto empty trailers.
• At all times, follow all SOP’s while also practicing GMP policies.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. (on wheels).
• Performing other duties as assigned to include but not limited to; stamping/coding product, labeling and removing labels from plastic totes, general warehouse clean up.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
