Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety-conscious team in a fast-paced packing environment. The role is scheduled Sunday to Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and pays $19.25 per hour.

Locations include US-NJ-Logan Township with full-time hours and a strong benefits package. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow SOPs/GMP policies while maintaining attendance and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• This is a fast-paced environment.
• Working in ambient temperature, range could very between 55-75 degrees.
• On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.
• Packing bakery items product into mobile bakery cans.
• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling walking.
• Pushing/pulling carts full of bakery product to assigned pack area.
• Pushing/pulling empty bakery carts to staging area and or onto empty trailers.
• At all times, follow all SOP’s while also practicing GMP policies.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. (on wheels).
• Performing other duties as assigned to include but not limited to; stamping/coding product, labeling and removing labels from plastic totes, general warehouse clean up.
• This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
