Penske Logistics LLC is hiring warehouse associates for a Monday–Friday shift in Dayton, NJ. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a proactive attitude to support efficient warehouse operations.

Pay starts at $18.20 per hour with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within the organization. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in non-climate-controlled conditions, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to work the required schedule and location
• Background check and drug screening required
• This position is safety sensitive and requires alertness and safe practices

Responsabilités

• Rebuilding pallets of cartons.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Comply with safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping.
• Scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control to identify damaged items.
• Read work orders and follow instructions.
• Assemble containers and crates with tools.
• Pack and repack containers as needed.
• Read production/shipping orders to determine items to move.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Distribute items to production workers or shelves.
• Weigh or count items for distribution.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Support supervisor with other tasks as assigned

Job Responsibilities:

• Rebuilding pallets of cartons
• Being on feet and able to lift 10-50lbs.
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments & material and equipment needs
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
