Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate I receives, unpacks, checks, and stows warehouse materials. Picks, packs, crates, and ships products to fill orders. Conducts light assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision.

Performs quality checks as needed and properly records results if necessary. Alerts Leads or Supervisors of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns, or other issues.

Key Accountabilities

1. Off-loading trucks utilizing forklift or pallet jack
2. Verifying that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurate
3. Breaking down freight – Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away location
4. Picking product orders – Hand loading product to pallets
5. Packaging outbound shipments – Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of product
6. Manifesting UPS shipments
7. Creating bills of lading for truck carriers
8. Producing and attaching identifying tags to product or shipments
9. Fulfilling all safety responsibilities
10. Performing other related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead
