Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate I is responsible for receiving, unpacking, checking, and stowing warehouse materials. This role involves picking, packing, crating, and shipping products to fulfill orders, conducting light assembly work, operating power equipment, and performing various related tasks.

The associate performs quality checks as needed, records results properly, and reports any issues such as quality problems, part shortages, or machine breakdowns to the Leadsperson.

Key Accountabilities

1. Off-loading trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks
2. Verifying accuracy of received materials (quality, type, amount)
3. Breaking down freight and transferring product to consolidated storage
4. Picking products for orders and loading onto pallets
5. Packaging outbound shipments with wraps, straps, or boxing
6. Manifesting UPS shipments
7. Creating bills of lading for truck carriers
8. Attaching identifying tags to products or shipments
9. Fulfilling safety responsibilities
10. Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead
