Hiring Immediately for Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations - Mon-Fri Day Shifts

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This position is responsible for performing duties related to merchandise movement, including storing, moving, and distributing products using provided equipment. The role involves leading by example and providing some training to other employees.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

1. Merchandise Movement

• Move and condense merchandise within locations to ensure space efficiency.
• Transport merchandise to and from the show floor, including display, storage, delivery, customer pickup, or shipment.
• Use point of sale (POS) system to manage product flow.
• Ensure accuracy on customer orders and system records.
• Unload, identify, inspect, tag, and receive incoming merchandise.
• Unpack, inspect, assemble, and wrap outgoing merchandise to ensure unblemished arrival.

Training

• Lead by example and provide some training to other employees.

Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies and keep management informed on inventory status.

Other Duties

• Implement lean practices.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor, including working different schedules or at different locations.
• Assist with grounds and building maintenance, including lighting.

Safety

• Adhere to safety policies and practices, modeling safe behaviors and risk reduction procedures.
• Handle equipment and merchandise properly to avoid damage.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and maintain a safe, organized facility.
• Comply with company rules and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards it).
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required; POS knowledge is desirable.
