• This is a new operation located in Laredo, Texas. New hire orientation is projected to be in August.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (weekends/holidays as required).

Base Rate: $21.63.

Job Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi‑tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers, and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening required.
