The Brazos Valley Food Bank (BVFB) in Bryan, Texas, is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver to join our team. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, reporting to the Inventory & Facility Manager.
You will unload and receive food inventory, pull orders for distribution, oversee volunteers in the warehouse, and help keep storage and racking in good order, with regular cycle counts and inventory checks.
The Brazos Valley Food Bank (BVFB), a private, non-profit organization that provides hunger-relief in the Brazos Valley (Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Robertson, and Washington Counties), is in search of a Full-Time Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver (40 hours/week). The position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm and will report to the Inventory & Facility Manager. The Warehouse Worker-Forklift Driver is responsible for safely and accurately unloading & receiving food inventory, getting food orders pulled and ready for distribution, as well as ensuring the facility is kept in its best, working order to support all of BVFB’s operations. To do this, the Warehouse Worker-Forklift Driver must work with the Inventory & Facility Manager to complete daily/weekly/monthly checklist, over-see and assist volunteers working in the Warehouse, maintain proper storage and racking of food, regularly conduct cycle counts and physical inventory, and ensure orders are pulled.
