Job summary

Brazos Valley Food Bank, Inc. in Bryan, TX seeks a full-time Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver to unload, receive, and organize food inventory for daily distribution. You will pull orders, oversee volunteers, and maintain safe storage under the Inventory & Facility Manager.

The role requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks, performing cycle counts, and completing paperwork. A valid Driver’s License and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) are required, with occasional safety

Qualifications

• Class A/B/C Driver’s License required
• Ability to operate Manual and Electric Pallet Jacks
• Forklift operation and certification required or willingness to train
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI
• Drug screening may be required
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to obtain Food Handler’s and other required certifications
• Strong communication with vendors and partners

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive product from donors/vendors and complete invoices
• Store reclamation pallets and tag pallets after receipt
• Receive donations from the public and log appropriately
• Capture information for product ranking from all received product
• Assist in pulling orders by following picklists and overseeing volunteers
• Complete pick List logs and paperwork
• Wrap and store orders safely in staging areas
• Perform routine warehouse maintenance and safety inspections
• Notify Warehouse Coordinator of issues affecting daily duties
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
