Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver to support warehousing operations, ensure correct orders, maintain an organized layout, transport orders, and load/unload materials. This is a full-time position with eight hours per day, eleven months per year, reporting to the designated administrator.

POSITION DETAILS AND DUTIES

FULL-TIME POSITION: EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; ELEVEN (11) MONTHS PER YEAR.

The job of Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities for ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; loading and unloading orders; and collecting materials from sites as assigned.

This job reports to DESIGNATED ADMINISTRATOR.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduation from High School OR General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Two(2)years of experience in a job-related field.
  • Any other combination of education, training, and experience, which demonstrates that the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, or abilities, may be considered.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Forklift Certificate.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability.

  3. Valid Photocopy of your California Class C Driver's License.
    • Official Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving history record WILLBE REQUIRED UPON OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT. You must go in-person to a DMV office to request your official driving record. This is the ONLY way to obtain this official document. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving history must be dated within the last thirty (30) days of the employment processing period. A DMV record obtained via the internet or online will NOT be accepted.

EXAMINATION PROCESS: Please note that the District reserves the right to add, eliminate or adjust testing steps and/or information on the posting at any time during the position posting and testing process.
