Openings:

2nd shift: 12:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday) 4x10hr days - day off will be assigned during orientation.

Pay: $19.96/hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential

Retention Bonus:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Accurately match numbers & letters
2. Accurately stage and sort products for loading
3. Loads and unloads trailers
4. Opens and close dock doors
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area
6. Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
7. Pulling of manual dock chain
8. Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
9. Move materials within the warehouse
10. Complies with all safety requirements
11. Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
12. Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
13. Quality control
14. Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
15. Complete daily logs
16. Communicate with associates from other shifts
17. Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
18. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
19. Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
20. Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
21. Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
22. Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
23. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
24. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
25. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
26. Uses computer to enter records
27. Prepares parcels for mailing
28. Maintains inventory records
29. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
30. Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
31. Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

1. No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
3. Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
4. Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
5. Flexible to work overtime preferred
6. Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
7. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
8. Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
9. Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
