Warehouse Worker - Reach Truck Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is seeking Reach Truck Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate deep reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and a focus on safety. It is suitable for safety-conscious individuals with a friendly attitude eager to excel in a warehouse environment.

• Base Rate: $19/HR
• Shift Differential: $1/HR

Perfect Attendance Pay: Up to an additional $3/hr (M-TH) / $5/hr (F, Sat, Sun). This position is eligible for a $1500 Retention Bonus!

Shift Time:

• 1:00 pm – end of production
• Five-day schedule, off days based on business needs

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Read work orders and instructions to determine tasks
• Match numbers and letters accurately
• Stage, sort, load/unload trailers, open/close dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Handle inventory, quality control, and packing tasks
• Use warehouse management systems for scanning and record-keeping
• Complete daily logs and communicate across shifts
• Other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

• Experience with Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, or Forklift preferred
• No prior warehouse experience required but a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, follow directions, and work independently
• Flexible to work overtime and in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Must pass background checks and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and use of hands
• Visual and verbal communication skills

This position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and responsibility for safety.
