Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Walton, KY for a contract-to-hire role. The position requires handling merchandise, verifying orders, and maintaining safety and productivity within a modern distribution center.

Responsibilities include moving items, auditing shipments, data entry, palletizing, replenishment, and loading shipments. This is an onsite role with competitive hourly pay and benefits outlined by the employer.

Qualifications

Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for efficiently moving merchandise within the distribution center, ensuring accuracy and quality in order fulfillment. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing merchandise, verifying shipments, and maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise is received as ordered and is not damaged or defective.
• Enter data into remote data terminal.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
• Replenish pick areas as identified by reports and requests for merchandise.
• Fill merchandise orders from stores by selecting and moving merchandise from pick slot to conveyor.
• Load outgoing merchandise from conveyor and/or four-wheel truck into trailer.
• Report damages and/or vendor compliance issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies.
• Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Skills + Qualifications

• Continuous lifting of merchandise up to 65 pounds on a regular basis, and occasional team lifting of merchandise up to 85 pounds.
• Continuous walking, including long distances and climbing stairs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet above ground.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull using hands and/or arms on a repetitive basis above and below shoulder level.
• Ability to work continuously for up to 12 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
