Summary of Job Duties:
The Warehouse Worker works under general supervision and is responsible for maintaining inventory control of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials. Maintains records and inventory of stock levels and notifies the supervisor of items to be reordered to ensure adequate supply. Fills requisitions for supplies from departmental and unit personnel and restocks shelves and bins with items from the warehouse.
Unloads shipment of supplies and materials and notifies supervisor of any damaged items. Checks packing slips against invoices to verify order accuracy; stacks items in proper bins or on shelves in the storage area. Delivers shipments to various locations according to schedule. Assists in the maintenance of work area, equipment, and vehicles and maintains vehicle records and dispatches vehicles. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned. The successful candidate must be able to lift to 55 pounds. This position may require overtime and may include being on call at times.

Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus one year of experience in inventory control, stock room or warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or a related field.
