Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Northlake, TX to efficiently manage receiving, storing, and issuing materials from the stockroom and warehouse. This full-on-site contract role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork to keep inventory moving smoothly.

The position runs Sun-Thu from 10pm to 6am with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour, plus benefits and weekly pay. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior shipping/receiving experience.

Qualifications

Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The primary role of a Warehouse Worker is to efficiently manage the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using computer systems.
• Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigating discrepancies or adjusting errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Work Environment

The position requires working Sun-Thu from 10pm to 6am. Employees must be willing and able to stand for at least 8 hours and perform tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting. Safety is a priority, and compliance with regulations is mandatory.

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
