Job description

Description of Hawkins Warehouse Worker Role

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker responsible for loading bulk and van trailers, filling containers, and performing various warehouse duties including shipping and receiving. The role involves operating motorized lifts, handling and labeling containers, testing products, maintaining cleanliness, conducting inventory counts, and preparing hazardous materials for DOT shipment. The position requires compliance with safety standards, emergency response participation, and may include batch blending and IBC washing tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a chemical operator or similar role
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to operate an industrial forklift safely
• Willingness to obtain 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
• Ability to lift 50-100 sacks regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and bending
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and around chemicals and machinery

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, wear PPE, and work in hot, cold, noisy, and dusty environments.

Additional Information
