Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker for 1st shift in Louisville, KY. This part-time role supports receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will verify quantities, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain accurate inventories while following AVI policies. The position offers a collaborative, family culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all warehouse receiving and distribution functions.
• Receive products and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders for shipment.
• Stock incoming orders and maintain inventories.
• Ensure timely and orderly distribution and receiving.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies, including security.
• Report cleanliness, safety or security concerns to management.

Warehouse Worker, Part-time, 1st Shift

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
