Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Lake Charles location, is seeking warehouse staff to perform physical distribution tasks. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving merchandise, verifying counts, and delivering items to designated areas.

You’ll work under the Warehouse Supervisor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with safety and teamwork at the forefront. The position emphasizes the ability to review requisitions, handle outside weather conditions, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides manual labor in the warehouse and receiving areas by loading, unloading and moving merchandise.
• Assists receiving personnel by verifying counts and noting discrepancies or damages.
• Issues and delivers items to proper destinations and obtains signatures for documentation.
• Maintains proper storage of inventory to avoid spills or spoilage and rotates stock.
• Performs duties as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Supports customer service interactions with coworkers and customers as needed.

This position is exposed to varying levels of noise and vibration, the severity of which depends upon warehouse activity.

This position is required, at times, to work outside and is exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme cold. Proper clothing is provided.

This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to bend, carry, squat, stand, twist and lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds in order to store and retrieve items located in the warehouse.

Must be able to review and comprehend purchase requisitions.

Must be able to effectively and efficiently move around warehouse.
