Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is hiring for a Warehouse Worker in Walton, KY. You will unload, sort, and package freight, operate material handling equipment, and ensure accurate packing with RF scanning. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and safety-consciousness, with on-the-job training for RF scanning and equipment operation.

The position offers multiple shifts, potential overtime, and comprehensive benefits. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred (training available).
• Physically demanding warehouse environment – frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack).
• Meet production goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Overtime/weekends required during peak volume.
• Ability to work in varying climate conditions (coolers/freezers).

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight (trucks, trailers, rail cars).
• Sort and organize freight.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Sort, repack, and label freight.
• Identify unusable pallets.
• Read, count, and use RF Scanner (training provided).
• Remove items from bins, scan and pack onto conveyer belt.
• Operate warehouse machinery per SOP (bailers, compactors, shrink wrappers).
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Job Description

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg.trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range: $600 - $1,200 per week

Pay Scale: Based on productivity

Shift

First Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Third Shift: Saturday to Monday, 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM

Job Requirements

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak volume
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
