Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is hiring for a warehouse associate in Whitestown, IN. You will unload and sort freight, operate handling equipment, and prepare items for shipping with RF scanners. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and teamwork to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Physically demanding warehouse environment with lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack).
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and safety standards.
• Excellent customer service and reliable attendance are required.
• Overtime/weekends may be required during peak seasons.
• Ability to work in varied climate conditions, possibly coolers/freezers.
• Reliable transportation and punctual arrival.
• Standing for 8–10 hours daily; clear communication is essential.
• Safety shoes must be worn; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight (trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.).
• Sort and organize freight for efficient processing.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment.
• Sort, repack, and label freight; identify unusable pallets.
• Read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided).
• Scan items, create packing lists, and bag items accurately.
• Operate warehouse machinery per customer SOPs (bailers, compactors, wrappers).
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Job Description:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour

Pay Scale: Based on productivity

Shift:

First Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Occasional Weekends)

Job Requirements:

• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
