Warehouse Worker

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday 6pm – work completion (typically 2am–3am)

Temporary to Possible Hire

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Location: Coralville, IA

Job Description: Kelly Services is seeking a Temporary Warehouse Worker to assist with various warehouse operations. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, adhering to GMP requirements, and supporting other warehouse positions as needed. The primary function is securing outbound shipments for loading, including the use of hand wrap materials. Other duties involve prepping trailers for loading by removing empty boxes, trash, and thoroughly cleaning out trailers.

Additional responsibilities:

• Assist with efficient and correct loading of route trucks
• Warehouse clean-up as needed
• Notify management of potential safety issues
• Strictly follow safety and GMP rules
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk constantly and frequently throughout the shift
• Training provided for use of an electric pallet jack
• Occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs
• Frequently kneel, bend, and twist to lift
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting: about 2/3 dry ambient (approx. 70°F), 1/3 refrigerated (approx. 36°F)
