Warehouse Associate

Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM, 40 hours/week

Hourly Wage: $15.00/hour

Benefits: Benefits and PTO start on date of hire

Position Overview

Must have some previous warehouse experience with a record of excellent attendance. The warehouse is located in LaPorte, Indiana. Work involves operating at individualized stations using AS400 computer systems and barcode scanners to process customer credits.

Responsibilities

• Unpackage returns and scan ISBNs to determine processing of returns
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds occasionally
• Read and understand instructions and procedures
• Work well independently and collaboratively
• Maintain good organizational and math skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, crouching, grasping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying. Specific vision abilities include close vision. The environment has moderate noise levels; hearing protection is optional but hearing is necessary due to automated equipment that uses horns to alert pedestrians of vehicles.
