Job description

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Location: Saxonburg, PA 16056

General Summary

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the accurate receiving, moving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This position also ensures product safety, quality, and legality.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately select products according to customer order specifications.
2. Load and unload products onto or from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc.
3. Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type are loaded and shipped.
4. Perform picking and packing duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
5. Use Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for various functions including picking, quality control, inventory, and shipping.
6. Determine product destination by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and sorting packages accordingly.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility’s equipment and materials.
8. Keep accurate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
9. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
10. Check products for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
11. Learn responsibilities, procedures, and duties of other warehouse areas if necessary.
12. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
13. Operate warehouse and computer equipment as required.
14. Work safely and efficiently.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology is a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency and flexibility to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Team player mentality.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

Ability to follow policies and procedures, read, write, interpret information, and perform basic math. Capable of handling physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and working throughout the warehouse environment with full range of motion. Visual acuity required. Ability to sit, walk, and stand for the duration of the shift.

Pay Range

Minimum: $11.58/hour, Maximum: $21.97/hour
