Job description

Pay: $17.75 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Saxonburg, PA 16056

General Summary

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the accurate receiving, moving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This role ensures product safety, quality, and legality.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately select products according to customer order specifications.
2. Load and unload products onto/from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc.
3. Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
4. Perform picking and packing duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
5. Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for picking, quality control, inventory, and shipping functions.
6. Determine product destinations by scanning packages, reading labels, verifying numbers, and sorting accordingly.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility's equipment and materials.
8. Keep accurate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
9. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
10. Check products for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
11. Learn responsibilities, procedures, and duties of other warehouse areas as needed.
12. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as required.
13. Operate warehouse and computer equipment as necessary.
14. Work safely and efficiently.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

Education/Experience

• 0-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology is a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency and flexibility to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Team player mentality.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

Ability to follow policies and procedures, read, write, interpret information, and perform basic math. Physical ability to handle, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and work throughout the warehouse environment with full range of motion. Visual acuity required.

Pay Range

Minimum: $11.58, Maximum: $21.97 per hour
