Job summary

Dot Foods is hiring a Material Handler for our Cambridge City, IN warehouse. You will pull, pack, and ship orders using equipment, and you’ll receive training on safety and forklift operation.

The role is full-time with night shifts (4x10) and a $1.00 per hour night differential. Must be 18+, pass a physical abilities test, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Benefits include vacation, medical, dental, 401k, and profit sharing.

• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, and ship orders consistently and accurately using equipment and technology.
• Lift cases with weights averaging 14 pounds, up to 60 pounds.
• Pick product from high shelves and obtain forklift certification during training.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Pull, pack, and ship orders consistently and accurately using special equipment and technology
• Lift cases—cases weigh an average of 14 pounds, 35-60 pounds on the high end
• Pick product from high shelves
• Obtain required forklift certification during our in-house training

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience
• Background in production-based job

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Bonuses available with each paycheck if productivity levels are met
• 40 hours of vacation time available after six months at Dot; 80 hours of vacation time available after one year at Dot
