Job Summary

Work in a Sysco warehouse as a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.

This is an active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities include organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders.

Other duties as assigned.

Work in a safe environment, often in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and the type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Frequently lift products weighing 10 lb - 75 lb, and up to 100 lb.

Frequently reach up to 72 inches.

Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelves.

Work in extreme temperatures, such as coolers and freezers.

Stand and work on your feet for 10-12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year of selection experience.
• Two years of consistent work history preferred.
