Job summary

POOLCORP in Berea, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately pull, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup in a fast-paced setting. You will assist with loading deliveries, receive shipments, log inventory, and maintain stock through audits.

Forklift operation is required with certification kept current. You’ll collaborate with supervisors and sales staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups, uphold safety standards, and help keep the facility orderly and efficient.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18 - $22/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

The compensation range for this position in OH is between $18 and $22/hour based on a full-time schedule. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications and experience.

Your total compensation (pay, benefits, and bonuses) will be adjusted based upon your job classification, hours worked, and length of employment.
