Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports the team by accurately receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment and assisting with loading deliveries while keeping inventory up to date.

You will work Monday–Friday 7am–5pm, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, life and disability insurance, parental leave, tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, up to 100 lbs.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior distribution/warehousing experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, audits to maintain stock.
• Communicates with supervisors, sales staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pickups.
• Operates forklift safely and maintains certification.
• Keeps the facility clean, safe, and efficient.

Location: Minneapolis, MN - 42, 6840 Shingle Creek Parkway, Suite #10, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota - 55430

Pay: $18 - $22/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm

What to Expect?

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.

On a daily basis our Warehouse Associate:

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.

The compensation range for this position in MN is between $18.00 and $22.00 based on a full-time schedule. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills,qualificationsand experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses orcommissionsplans as well as relocation or cost of living adjustments.
