Job summary

POOLCORP, a leading distributor of outdoor living products, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Lees Summit, MO. You will support order receiving, pulling, packing and setup for delivery or pickup in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves helping load trucks, verifying shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy while coordinating with sales and customers. Qualified candidates should be 18+, able to lift up to 100 pounds, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 lbs
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior forklift experience preferred
• Prior distribution/warehousing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pull, fill, pack and set up orders for delivery or pickup
• Assist in loading delivery trucks
• Receive shipments and log into inventory; perform inventory audits
• Communicate with supervisors, sales staff and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
• Operate forklift safely and maintain certification

$19 - $22 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours

Monday - Friday + Rotating Saturday shifts during summer season

What to Expect?

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
