Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Utility 1 in Macon, GA. The role focuses on repacking damaged packaging, maintaining a clean warehouse, and sorting products as part of an efficient warehouse operation.

You will identify sellable items for repack, report items for destruction, and ensure packaging integrity while using pallet jacks and forklifts. The position requires reliability, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• PPE as required by position and compliance with safety policies.
• Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
• Maintain safety and security of company assets.

• Less than high school education or up to 1 month related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Identify products in good sellable condition for repack process.
• Account for and report products to be destroyed and recycled.
• Follow repack process guidelines including date coding, cleaning, taping, gluing, and testing package integrity.
• Maintain package quality and integrity while performing duties timely and efficiently.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Load miscellaneous items, stack pallets and shells.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

The Warehouse Utility 1 is responsible for the repack of products that have damaged packaging from trade or warehouse handling, maintaining a clean warehouse and sorting product or shells

What your day will look like:

• Identify products that are in good sellable condition to be included in the repack business process procedure
• Account for and report all products that need to be destroyed and recuperated through the recycling process
• Follow guidelines pertaining to the repack processes that include date coding, cleaning, taping, gluing, and testing package integrity
• Maintain package quality and integrity while performing duties in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
• Follows written and oral instructions
• Loading miscellaneous items, stacking pallets and shells
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
