Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking warehouse team members to assist in shipping, loading, receiving and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role offers Monday-Friday 3pm until completion with a comprehensive benefits package including two weeks paid vacation, medical coverage, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and a CDL tuition program. Candidates must be 18+, able to read and speak English, and commit to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• PPE as required and safety policies must be followed.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Maintain neat professional appearance.
• Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays or flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform Material Handler, Forklift operator, Clerk, building & grounds duties.
• Support warehouse lead duties, release shipments, dock coordinator and check loaded pallets.
• Support inventory and warehouse clerk duties, inventory count reconciliation, process shipments and create Purchase Orders /Stock Transfer Order.
• Unload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks and put away and replenishment of product.
• Build pallets via paper order or Voice pick.
• Rework damaged product in warehouse.
• Sort product and replenish flow racks.
• Straighten and sort pallets and shells.
• Operate efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety and quality in the workplace.
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Assist or perform other positions in the warehouse to include forklift, material handler, clerk positions. Keep facility clean and orderly including shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds by performing the following duties. What you need to succeed:

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
