Job summary

Advanced C4 Solutions Inc. seeks a Warehouse Transition Manager to plan and execute the seamless transfer of the Shipping and Receiving Facility and all Government property. You will coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure uninterrupted IT logistics, fulfillment, and deployment support.

The role requires coordinating with DoS security, standing up the new SRF, verifying inventory, and developing SOPs and ILMS integration for real-time tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of warehouse/logistics or supply chain management experience.
  • 3+ years IT asset logistics including Government-furnished property handling.
  • 3+ years leading transition or standup activities for a facility.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers and handling domestic/international shipments.
  • Experience using COTS inventory management software and ILMS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Description

The Warehouse Transition Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the seamless transfer of the Shipping and Receiving Facility (SRF) and all associated Government property from the existing facility. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all warehouse transition activities, working in close coordination with the Program Manager (PgM) and Transition Manager to ensure no disruption to global IT logistics, fulfillment, and deployment support operations.

The Warehouse Transition Manager will develop, maintain, and execute a detailed warehouse transition plan aligned with the overall Transition-In Plan, ensuring all activities — including full receipt and verification of incumbent inventory. The individual will oversee the standup of the new SRF, ensuring the facility meets all location, physical security, environmental, workspace, and OSHA compliance requirements prior to operational handover. They will coordinate the implementation and validation of a Government-approved COTS inventory management software solution with real-time tracking, shipping status, and ILMS integration capabilities, while also developing and maintaining all warehouse SOPs and the Facility Management Plan (FMP). Upon completion of all transition activities, the Warehouse Transition Manager will conduct a formal operational handover to the Warehouse Manager, documenting all outstanding items, open risks, and lessons learned to ensure full continuity of warehouse operations.

Desired Certifications:

Class I – Electric Motor Rider Trucks - OSHA Class I Powered Industrial Truck Operator
Powered by large industrial batteries; quiet, used indoors.
Common in warehouses, food storage, and clean environments.
Certification covers battery operation, stability, and indoor safety OSHA Education Center.

Class II – Electric Motor Narrow-Aisle Trucks - OSHA Class II Powered Industrial Truck Operator
Includes reach trucks and order pickers; small frames, tight turns.
Used in high-rack warehouses and narrow aisles.
Certification focuses on narrow-space maneuvering and high-lift safety

Position Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience managing warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a Government or Federal contracting environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing IT asset logistics, including receipt, storage, inventory tracking, and disposition of Government-furnished property.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading transition or standup activities for a warehouse or logistics facility, including development and execution of transition plans, SOPs, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers and managing domestic and international shipments.
  • Demonstrated experience using COTS inventory management software and Government property management systems such as ILMS or equivalent.
  • Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret clearance, given the requirement to coordinate with DoS security personnel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal IT asset management programs, including coordination with contracting and program offices for procurement and disposition activities.
  • Familiarity with DoS logistics and property management regulations, including 5 FAM, 14 FAM, and ILMS.
  • Experience managing diplomatic pouch shipments or coordinating logistics for overseas Government facilities.
  • Experience developing and implementing facility security plans in compliance with OSHA and Federal physical security standards.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms for tracking hardware and software assets.
  • Experience conducting physical inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies in Government property management systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, demonstrating ability to manage complex, time-sensitive transition activities.
  • Prior experience supporting a DoS, DoD, or other Federal agency warehouse or logistics operation of similar size and complexity.
