Job summary

BGDC Distribution is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver hands-on instruction for warehouse operations and equipment handling. You will certify associates on MHE, maintain training records, and support onboarding with a focus on safety and productivity.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience and preferred MHE certification. You will work across shifts as needed to ensure continuous training and operational readiness at the NorthPark Facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related experience required.
• Previous experience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading associates preferred.
• Experience operating MHE including reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training to new and existing associates on warehouse operations.
• Train and certify associates on MHE in accordance with safety standards and policies.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and documentation for compliance.
• Conduct onboarding and ongoing training to ensure understanding of procedures and productivity standards.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support daily warehouse operations as needed (order selection, loading, reach truck tasks).
• Develop and update training materials and SOPs to reflect current practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify training opportunities and improvement areas.
