Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of formal, informal, or on-the-job training experience.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks and willingness to train others.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Strong math and reading comprehension.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to switch between training and operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire onboarding and training for successful integration.
• Deliver cross-training to enhance workforce flexibility.
• Provide instruction on best methods and job functions with emphasis on safety.
• Lead equipment training, including forklifts.
• Support retraining efforts.
• Collaborate on special projects and process improvements.
• Promote safety culture and serve as role model.
• Perform standard operational tasks when not training.
